Who Is Jon Benson and Why You Should Listen To Him

Those of you not familiar with Jon Benson have been missing out on great advise about how to get fit, stay fit, have more energy and ultimately have better diet control.
First and foremost, you have to believe in yourself to succeed. Second, your age need not be equated with frailty, nor should it be, it isn’t your age but your inactivity that causes many of the negative effects associated with age.
Earlier this week, I had an opportunity to speak with Jon Benson about his books and asked him some questions that I think you will find captivating.
Q: Of all the books you have written, which one is your favorite and why?
Jon: I do not have a favorite. I’ve been asked this before, but I find that an exceedingly difficult question to answer since every book is its own entity. If I had a gun to my head, I’d probably say “Fit Over 40” since it was my first book. However, I’m proud of “Every Other Day Diet” and “7 Minute Muscle” because of the paradigm shift both books evoke in the minds of my readers. Knowing that you are not stuck eating chicken and rice all day or training hours a day in the gym to get even a fitness-model physique is very liberating.
Q: What are the top 3 books that people buy from you?
Jon: Definitely Every Other Day Diet, 7 Minute Body (also called 7 Minute Muscle) and Fit Over 40,
Q: My blog is for Baby Boomers (1946 to 1964). Which of your books would you recommend first?
Jon: Definitely Fit Over 40, just to get the inspiration if nothing else. There’s 52 stories of men and women, age 40 to 80, as well as their bios on training, nutrition and motivation. And of course plenty of pictures to show you exactly what can be done. From there, I would opt for “Every Other Day Diet” so your readers could get an exact plan for them, as EODD comes with 30 days of personal coaching.
Q: How much time should be invested in using your program to start seeing results?
Jon: Results can be seen in as little as a week. Energy levels will drastically increase after 14 days, with shape and fat loss coming at a steady pace from the first week on.
Now those were some straight forward answers and they sure do pique ones curiosity. I’d be hard-pressed to think of anyone who would not benefit immensely from any of the 3 books Jon talks about here. I highly recommend Fit Over 40, Every Other Day Diet and 7 Minute Muscle to anyone. You can learn more about purchasing Jon’s books on the right hand side of this page.
They also make great gifts for the holidays.
